Last week, we traveled to New York City to meet with other Clinton Global Initiative Alumni Ambassadors at the Headquarters for the Clinton Foundation. The group included other young professionals who have attended CGIU in the past, and have been working on commitments to change the world. Below is a blurb from the CGIU instagram page about what we did while we were in the city.
“Last week CGI U hosted its first-ever summer reception with its inaugural cohort of Alumni Ambassadors at the @ClintonFoundation office in New York City. CGI U’s 53 Alumni Ambassadors are program alums from the past ten years who serve as representatives of CGI U and assist in engagement and recruitment efforts. At the reception, ambassadors had a chance to connect with fellow alums and CGI U staff, learn more about CGI U’s program offerings throughout the year, and brainstorm ways to build stronger connections and support the ongoing commitments of CGI U’s 10,000+ alumni worldwide. We are grateful to ambassadors who traveled to be here and we are excited for what’s to come for our CGI U alumni community!”
We are very excited to a part of this inaugural group of alumni and plan to keep you all posted on all things CGIU. We never expected this clothing line that started in a college dorm to land us a seat at the table with members of the Clinton Foundation.
